About Hero‘s PETS
Hero‘s P.e.t.s. goal is to help change the world for the better.
Not only do we sell the highest quality foods, treats, supplements, toys, beds and more but we also focus on maintaining a knowledgeable staff that can help educate people about ecological local and global issues, nutrition and more.
The pet foods that we carry are limited to companies that have the best history of quality control and cleanliness, in
addition to being good quality with human grade ingredients.
The treats that we carry are either made in Colorado or we‘ve tested them ourselves. . . so we know they‘re good.
The supplements we carry are also mostly things we‘ve tested ourselves . . . they are of the highest quality and potency without being the highest price. We also have an educated staff to assist you in choosing what is right for your pet.
The toys we carry are either made out of recycled materials, are recyclable (and will be recycled by the company if you bring them back when you‘re done with them) or are extremely durable . . . and as we all know, the longer it lasts, the less trash you‘re putting in a landfill and the more money you save in the long run.
The beds we carry are also made out of recycled materials. We even carry a line of shampoo that directly benefits tribes in Africa, unlike most African products where the money goes to the government.

How we select Products and Services:
Toys:
Our toys are all from companies we trust. We regularly re-evaluate each company to make sure they continue to hold high standards of health and safety. We choose companies that are earth friendly, durable, and morally conscious.
Food Selection:
While ingredients labels are important we at Hero‘s Pets recognize that they can be deceptive. Because of this we take much more than the label into account when choosing our selection of foods. We consider the ingredients themselves, the order of the ingredients on the label, the source of those ingredients, the location of manufacture, the history of quality control of the company producing the food, the morals of the company that makes the food and much more. If the company has had too many questionable issues throughout their history we choose not to sell it because we recognize that your pets health is more important than what a company can make you believe with their packaging. We hope you understand that while we do have a limited selection of foods we choose those foods with care and with your pet in mind first and foremost.

Not just products with pretty packaging or a good ingredients label. We research each product line to make sure that you are not only getting a great product, but a safe, earth friendly product, preferably that donates money to a good cause.
